But we wouldn't have it any other way, because when we get to that perfect end result, which is the bit you do see, the smiles and amazing reactions make it all worth it.

Down on the beautiful south coast of East Sussex, you'll find Floramay—a dream of mine that blossomed from my lifelong passion for flowers. My floristry journey started back when I was 15 in Kennington, South London. With an incredible boss showing me the ropes, I soaked up everything about flowers like a sponge. College polished my skills, and I got to work for some of Central London's most prestigious florist shops and five-star hotel teams.

In 2005, I decided to go freelance, and by 2007, I had my own florist shop. Over the years, I built up a fantastic reputation, creating beautiful floral arrangements for top-notch corporate clients like The Imperial War Museum, Stena Shipping, The Stroke Association, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Savill's. Plus, I loved designing wedding flowers for couples all around London, Kent, and Surrey.

In 2012, I shifted to a studio-based approach, tapping into the growing online floristry market. When 2020 threw us all a curveball, my husband and I saw it as the perfect opportunity to live our dream by the coast. Moving to Bishopstone brought new life to Floramay, and we now offer stunning flowers for all occasions. Our website makes local delivery easy, and we've become the go-to for wedding blooms.

My inspiration in floristry comes from a deep love of colour and texture, and flowers with unique personalities. I'm a mixed bag, finding joy in both the serene beauty of gardens and nature, and the bold, vibrant world of fashion and style. This eclectic mix helps me create floral designs that are not just beautiful but full of character and originality. I'm also a big believer in the power of branding, knowing that a strong, cohesive brand can elevate a business and leave a lasting impression.

Alongside a select crew, we’re all about spreading beauty and joy with our thoughtfully designed floral creations. We pour our hearts into every detail, making sure our customers are over the moon with our work.
