We know wedding planning can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone! Thanks to the wonderful questions from our past couples, we’ve put together some helpful answers to guide you every step of the way. We’re here to make things easy and enjoyable for you as you plan your special day.

Where do I start?
Start by filling out our Wedding enquiry form where we ask you for key information, including your wedding date, so we can make sure firstly we have your date available and the information you provide will give us an insight into your wedding day. -
Do you have a price list and/or minimum spend?
We do not have a set price list, our flowers are bespoke, and are tailored to your individual requirements, there are lots of elements that add to the overall cost of your wedding flowers.
We encourage you to be open about your budget from the outset so we can guide you to what is achievable.
We do not have a set minimum spend but generally a starting point for Bridal party flowers only is on average from around £750.00
Distance UK wedding installs/deliveries may be subject to minimum spends and/or delivery charges. -
Where do you cover?
We are based in Seaford, East Sussex, and we cover Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London. We can and have on occasion travelled further afield.
Further distances may be subject to minimum spends and/or delivery charges. -
I'm not sure what flowers I want?
Don't panic! That’s what we’re here for, using our experience and expertise we’ll work with you to make sure you have the most beautiful flowers that suit you and your wedding day perfectly. -
Can I book a consultation?
Yes, once you have completed our Wedding Enquiry form and we have confirmed we have your wedding date available, we can book you in for an initial consultation. The consultation is free of charge, depending on the scale of your wedding we may suggest a face-to-face consultation, or a telephone consultation or if you’re not based locally, we can arrange a video consultation. -
Do you provide a quotation?
Yes, once you have had a consultation with us, we will provide you with a written quotation, which will generally include mood boards to help give you a visual insight into the ideas we’ve discussed.
The prices given in our Quotations are a fully inclusive price, no hidden extras! Our terms and conditions are included in our quotations. Quotations are no obligation. -
What does your wedding flower service typically cover?
Consultations, Quotations, Bridal party flowers, Ceremony flowers, Reception flowers, delivery, set-up, installation, loan/hire of the required glassware/props to achieve the quoted designs, collection of our glassware/props at the end of the wedding. -
Deposits and payments?
We take a non-refundable booking fee of £150.00 or 10% whichever is greater, once the booking fee is received the date is yours.
We cannot hold a date without payment of the booking fee.
Your remaining balance will be due 4 weeks before your wedding date.
All wedding payments are payable by Bank transfer only. -
Are you experienced and insured?
Yes, I have over 35 years of experience as a florist, as well as an NVQ qualification in floristry, and have been fortunate to work on many lovely weddings. Floramay has been established since 2005 and is fully insured, and we can provide method statements and risk assessments if your venue requires them. -
Do you have a retail shop?
No, we are a home studio-based florist, over our 35 years of experience which includes the time spent at our retail shop base in London, the studio-based model works best for us and our clients, weddings require a lot of work and attention, so by not being tied to the traditional retail shop side of floristry, enables us to be more flexible with our availability, consultations, site visits and installs.
Our flowers are ordered in fresh specifically for your wedding/event, we choose premium blooms from our suppliers, they are never taken from 'shop stock'.
