Harriet & Harrison’s
Love in full bloom at Highley Manor
Highley Manor, with its roots stretching back to 1669 and once home to a romantic poet, is now a stunning country house hotel nestled in Balcombe, Haywards Heath — exclusively dedicated to weddings. Its rich history and timeless charm made it the perfect setting for Harriet & Harrison’s July celebration.
From the very beginning, it was clear that family played a central role in their wedding. My journey with Harriet, Harrison, and their loved ones over the year leading up to the day was a joy. Harriet’s vision was elegant and understated: white flowers paired with deep green tones, layered with varied foliage to create a dreamlike ceremony aisle.
Throughout the venue, floral moments paid tribute to loved ones — memory wreaths in honour of Harriet’s late grandfather and Harrison’s late grandmother added a deeply personal touch. Roses, hydrangea, and delphiniums adorned the venue, while foliage rings graced the tables. The bouquets were bursting with summer favourites: dahlias, nigella, astilbe, and phlox. It was a full floral affair, rich in meaning and beauty.
