Stephanie & David’s
Magical Autumn wedding at Highley Manor
October bought us back to Highley Manor, a distinguished country house hotel nestled in Balcombe, which serves as an exclusive venue dedicated to weddings.
From our very first meeting, I knew I’d love being part of Stephanie and David’s celebration. Their jewel-toned vision — complete with pumpkins, mirror balls, and playful nods to Disney — was a dream match for my style.
We worked with a sumptuous palette of pink, purple, plum, red, green, blue, and orange, using roses, matthiola, nerines, orchids, delphinium, lisianthus, amaranthus, and dianthus to name just a few. From bouquets, buttonholes, and flower girl crowns to flowering the aisle and dressing Highley’s striking pavilion, every detail was layered with colour and texture.
After the ceremony, we repurposed the flowers to transform The Great Hall — a move that brought continuity and abundance to the evening. And while the bridal bouquet was a showstopper, my personal favourite? The cake. Hands down. A floral fantasy in its own right.
