A village affair in Ickham 

A gloriously hot May day set the scene for Jo & Sanjay’s village wedding in Ickham. Their flowers moved from soft blush to vibrant cerise, with peonies, sweet peas and butterfly ranunculus creating abundant, romantic bridal bouquets. The traditional church was dressed with late‑spring colour — alliums, delphiniums and hydrangeas in two striking pedestal arrangements reflecting the stunning stained glass window, and milk‑churn flowers welcoming guests at the gate as the Bridal party walked the lane from their home. After the service, those same church flowers were re‑imagined for a relaxed garden‑party celebration, slipped into oak barrels with lanterns glowing as the festivities carried on into the night.
