Katy & Paul’s
Golden light & Autumn Grace at Pelham house
Nearby Pelham House is a beautifully restored Grade II listed townhouse set in the bustling centre of Lewes. With origins dating back to the 16th century, the venue has been thoughtfully extended and enhanced over the years, blending elegant Georgian architecture with contemporary style. Guests enjoy exclusive access to private, landscaped gardens, adding natural charm to this uniquely curated setting.
Mid-October provided the perfect backdrop for Katy and Paul’s wedding, where a sage green theme set a refined tone for the celebration. The floral arrangements were intentionally kept simple and classic to harmonise with this palette. Soft champagne toned Four Seasons and Royal Porcelain roses formed the foundation, complemented by delicate white fillers, including Astilbe, Wax Flower, and Astrantia. To enhance the sensory experience and add depth, scented Matthiola and Hypericum berries were incorporated into the bouquets and floral rings adorning the tables. The gentle glow of candlelight added warmth, creating a romantic atmosphere as autumn dusk settled over the venue.
